Support our Sea Gooseberry free outdoor arts event coming to Folkestone
As ancient beacons of hope and light, what stories do they tell?
The sea gooseberries will be coming to Folkestone in late 2021 for an ambitious, magical outdoor arts experience across the town and on the beach, with involvement from local community groups and artists.
Part treasure hunt, part performance, the month-long event will be enjoyed by people of all ages and will encourage visitors to embrace the outdoors and support local business.
We're raising £500 to contribute towards the final production costs to: make this event free to the public, deliver community engagement activities and provide paid opportunities for local artists and technicians. To find out more please visit our project page. If you can make a donation, thank you - your support will make a huge difference.
If you would like to sponsor the project in a different way, please do get in touch.
The event is being produced by local arts company SparkedEcho CIC and artist Alison Neighbour.
